Eagles of the Republic by Tarik Saleh, leads the way with a total of 11 nominations. Andreas Öhman’s 7 Steps and Jon Blåhed’s Raptures follows with eight nominations each, while Kevlar Soul by Maria Eriksson-Hecht received seven.
Malga Kubiak’s Fetisch and Claes Söderquist’s Room will also be screened in the side section Cinema Regained, while the short films Without Kelly by Lovisa Sirén and Sauna Sickness by Malin Barr will compete at the Sundance Film Festival.
