Nominations for the 2015 Guldbagge Awards

With 6 nominations each, A Man Called Ove (En man som heter Ove) by Hannes Holm the adaption of the novel by Fredrik Backman and Drifters (Tjuvheder) by feature debutant Peter Grönlund take the lead. They are followed by White People (Det vita folket) by Lisa Aschan (She Monkeys) and Berlin Crystal Bear winner My Skinny Sister (Min lilla syster) by Sanna Lenken – both with 5 nominations.

A jury of 36 members came to the following result for the nominations for the 2015 Guldbagge Awards, Sweden's national film awards. Special committees agreed on the nominations for the categories for Best Short Film, Best Documentary Film and Best Foreign Language Film. The nominations are listed in alphabetical order.

More awards at the ceremony The Award of Honour will be presented, as well as the Gullspira (for extraordinary contributions in films for children) and The Audience Award (three nominations to be announced January 8). Also the award for Best Newcomer will be presented. The Guldbagge Awards ceremony will be held 18 January 2016 at Cirkus in Stockholm. Swedish Television (SVT) will be broadcasting the event live.

Awarded annually since 1964, the Guldbagge ("Golden Beetle") is the name of the Swedish Film Institute's award for achievements during the previous year. The award itself, in the form of a fantastical beetle, was designed by the artist Karl Axel Pehrson.
