Members of the Board

The government appoints the board members and decides who will be chairman. The board must consist of a maximum of nine members and each member is appointed for a period of three years with the possibility of extension.

Gunilla von Platen, chairman

Gunilla von Platen is an entrepreneur, investor and property owner. She is the founder of the company Xzakt Kundrelation, which in 2017 became a sister company to Transcom worldwide AB, where she is a Co-Owner and Board member. Gunilla is a Board member of IVA:s Business Executives Council and on the selection committee for the same.

She is one of the ambassadors for the Prince Daniels Fellowship and the organization Mentor and is involved in several non-profit organizations that, among other things, build orphanages in Syria.

In 2020, Gunilla published her autobiography Draken i rummet (The Dragon in the Room). She has led the TV program The Apprentice Sweden and has also appeared in Draknästet (The Dragon's Den).

Golnaz Hashemzadeh Bonde

Golnaz Hashemzadeh Bonde is an author and founder & CEO of Inkludera Invest.

Torbjörn Elensky

Torbjörn Elensky is an author, culture writer and essayist in Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet.

Gunilla Kindstrand

Gunilla Kindstrand is a journalist and writer for the magazines Axess, Kvartal and Svenska Dagbladet. She is also Chairman of the Folkoperan foundation.

Olof Lavesson

Olof Lavesson is Head of Communications at the Swedish Postcode Lottery and has a background in politics, for example as Chairman of the Cultural Committee.

Tobias Nielsén

Tobias Nielsén is CEO and Publishing Manager at Volante. He has worked as a journalist and culture writer. He has also, among other things, been the government's appointed investigator in the public inquiry Creative Sweden.

Nadi Tofighian

Nadi Tofighian is a Researcher and Lecturer at the Section for Cinema Studies at the Department of Media Studies at Stockholm University.

Knut Weibull

Knut Weibull has previously worked, among other things, as Expedition and Legal Manager at the Ministry of Culture and Chief Antiquarian at The Swedish National Heritage Board.

Annika Wik

Annika Wik works with knowledge development through culture. She is a University Lecturer at the Institute for Film Studies, Stockholm University.
