The mission of the Swedish Film Institute is to support film across the board through the allocation of grants to different sectors such as production, distribution, screening, quality film experiences for children and young people and the promotion of Swedish film internationally. Creative Europe Desk Sweden, which provides information about EU support for film professionals is also located at the Swedish Film Institute.
