System requirements

To get the best use of the application service, we recommend you to use a computer/laptop with the browsers Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. A specially adapted version for smaller screens (for example smart phones or reading tablets) is planned.

If you have problems with opening pdf-files, you can download a free pdf-reader here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/

Create user account

To be able to submit applications via the application service you need to have a user account. Go to the application service’s start page and click on Create Account.

What should I do if I don’t receive my confirmation e-mail?

Check your junk mail folder if you don´t receive a confirmation email. If the confirmation e-mail is not in your junk mail and you haven't received it within 1 hour, please contact us at ansokansupport@filminstitutet.se. Do not resubmit the same application until you have received further information from us. Please notice that the first confirmation email may be written in swedish, and that you will receive information in english short after.

We handle applications during office hours Mon-Fri except for public holidays.

How do I send additional documents to an ongoing case?

In the digital application service you can upload documents in your ongoing case if you click 'Ongoing applications' - 'Add additional information' - fill out a name for your draft (or just click save) - and then upload the document in the appropriate field and 'Submit'.
