Oscar
A total of 16 Swedish films have been nominated for an Academy Award for Best International Feature Film (until 2020 the category was called Best Foreign Language Film). Four films have won. In 1951 the Norwegian-Swedish film Kon-Tiki also won the Best Documentary Oscar. The film competed for Norway, but it was produced by the Swede Olle Nordemar whose name is also engraved on the statuette.
