All articles are written by film scholars at Lund university and concentrates on the last ten years of swedish film, says Professor Erik Hedling in his editorial. Some of the articles are sprung from the research project Movies and Welfare Institutions in Sweden.
Among the articles is Mats Jönsson's "Marcimainstream? History in two contemporary Swedish TV series". Here the author takes a look at two series by Mikael Marcimain and their use of authentic archive footage from Swedish public service TV (SVT), and how this relates to the real historical background.
