Two Swedish films in the Berlin Film Festival’s Generation Section
The first films to compete in the Generation Section at the Berlin Film Festival have been announced including the two Swedish films, Siv Sleeps Astray and Molly Monster.
Siv Sleeps Astray, directed by Catti Edfeldt and Lena Hanno Clyne, is produced by SnowCloud Films AB with support from the Swedish Film Institute/Film Commissioner Magdalena Jangard.
Most things seem very strange when Siv, 7, for the first time sleeps over at her new friend Cerisia’s. With the help of two talkative and funny badger friends, who appear in the middle of the night, she has some wonderful adventures that help her embrace differences and find herself.
Swedish co-production Molly Monster, directed by Mattias Bruhn, Ted Sieger and Michael Ekblad, will also be screened in the same section.
