EFA nomination for Girls Lost
Girls Lost nominated for the EFA Young Audience Award 2016.
Girls Lost by Alexandra-Therese Keining has been nominated for the European Film Academy´s Young Audience Award 2016. The three nominated films will be screened simultaneously on 8 May to young audiences in 30 European cities who will act as a jury and vote for the winning film right after the screening.
Kim, Bella and Momo are three fourteen-year-old girls who discover a fantastic flower with magic qualities: by drinking its nectar they are transformed into boys and they enter a new world. At first they enjoy their newly found freedom, but soon Bella and Momo realize that there are drawbacks to it. Kim, however, gets seriously addicted…
Girls Lost has also just been sold to Wolfe Releasing for distribution in the US and Canada. The film has been produced with support from the Swedish Film Institute, Film Commissioner Baker Karim.
