New library system in December
December 10 the library will change from our old library system to a more modern version. The work with implementing the new system has been our main task these last six months, and we’re happy to be close to the finish line.
With this switch we hope to improve for both staff and patrons. The patrons will meet a more modern and user friendly interface that will make the handling of loans, requests etc. easier. And, perhaps most importantly, it is better equipt to present alla our electronic resources.
Our current catalogue Matiné will be replaced by a discovery service called Primo. This means that it will be possible to find all our resources in one search, whether it be a printed book or an article in a database that we subscribe to.
As always, in the case of migrating data from one system to another, there might occur issues not foreseen. The library services will at some points be done altogether. Monday december 9 until Wednesday december 11 the library will be closed.

December 6: Our current catalogue Matiné is set to read only mode. This means it’s possible to search but not to renew loans or make requests.
December 9–11: The library will be closed. This means that you can’t check out or renew loans. No loans have due date these dates.
December 11: In the afternoon links and our website will be updated. The new interface Primo will be available and it will again be possible to renew loans or make requests. All patrons will have to create a new password in Primo. How this is done will be described later.
December 12: The library will be open again.
