Producer on the Move: Julia Gebauer
Julia Gebauer has been selected by The Swedish Film Institute and European Film Promotion as one of the twenty most dynamic emerging producers from across Europe for Producer on the Move 2023, during the Cannes Film Festival.
Julia Gebauer will take part in a tailor-made programme to foster international co-productions, intensify the exchange of experiences and help create new professional networks. It all happens 18-22 May, at the Cannes Film Festival.
– I am very happy and proud to be a Producer on the Move this year. It's a great opportunity to continue building my international network and brainstorm with colleagues from all over Europe about all the challenges and opportunities we have ahead of us, says Julia Gebauer.
– We are extremely happy that Julia, with her experience, her knowledge and her exciting new projects, has been selected to be one of this year's Producers on the Move. We hope and believe that she will have interesting network-strengthening days in Cannes, which will lead to further international collaborations and more brilliant films, says Petter Mattsson, head of the International Department at the Swedish Film Institute.Moa Gammel in Breaking Surface.
